March shopping trip

So I have no outfit posts because I've hardly been out. Been working away like mad. So this post is just going to be pictures/links/prices etc of bits and bob's I've bought this month (because I always make time to shop)

Duvet - Primark £5

I wanted this duvet full price (which was still only £11) but when I saw it for £5 I just had to have it.
I think it's really cute and I have a LOT of vintage-like pillows which add some colour and look lovely with this duvet cover.

Rings - Primark £1.50/£2.50

Since working in Primark I have become a cheapskate when it comes to jewellery, I tend to not pay more than £8 for anything. The rings are especially good value since I always seem to lose them. I don't wear a statement ring very often so midi rings are perfect for me. Just gives that extra in an outfit.

Top - Jaded London £28

I really struggle with buying a bikini top due to the size of my breasts :( I dont want to totally cover them, but nor do I want to get them right out and look like a slapper.
So I saw this top from Jaded London on ASOS.com and had to buy it.
when the sun comes out I'll probably wear it as a top aswell. I just think its lovely and a nod to the calvin klein iconic design

Shorts - D2Vintage @ Ebay £12.95; Top - Primark £5

These are Probably my favourite shorts ever, I definately recomment going up a size considering Levi's are well known to be on the small side. The link I provided is for the "grade A" shorts, which means they are perfect condition but a few pounds more expensive than the £12.95 I paid.
I bought the "grade B" meaning they come a bit more battered and may need some repair work, mine for example needed a button hole sewing up in the corneer.
Now this primark top is one of my favourite clothes from there recently. It can be worn off shoulder like a bardot shape or up on the shoulders.
I just adore the elephant and "hippie" prints that are coming back into fashion now.

So that's all my clothes etc. I've done loads of overtime this month so next month's hauls/outfit posts will hopefully be more exciting, and of course more of them :)

2015

Ok so yet again I haven't posted for ages, been a busy little bee the last few months.
So I'm gonna do a quick round up of a few of my fave outfits and buys this year so far.

I had been searching for a beautiful cable knit jumper for ages and I was lucky enough to find this one in Primark, to make things better it was in the sale for £7.
I'm now on the hunt for a nice green one so if anyone can help that would be good ;)
I've worn it 4 times so far this year, love it tucked into shorts or as a dress with tights and even though it's loose it still fits under my coats.

Ok anyone who knows me will know I have a bit of an obsession with dogs. This duvet set from is from Primark and was £11, even in a double and of course I had to get the matching pj bottoms £6

Top - Missguided ; Shirt - Ladymuck vintage ; Jeans - Primark ; Shoes - Nike "fast love" air max

I have worn this shirt nearly everyday since I bought it from my local vintage shop as it goes with anything and I refuse to pay £20+ for an oversized one in high street shops.
Of course I this Missguided top, as soon as it went in the sale I ordered it without even thinking, if it's good enough for Jourdan Dunn!!
These Primark jeans have ripped knees but you can't ever tell on me because I'm so damn short but hey ho.
And lastly these Nikes are just wonderful, I get compliments whenever I wear them, been worn to death for about 2 years now.

I saw loads of these chokers on Instgram and had to get one. This is a pink one (excuse the forever bad photos) and was £2 off Ebay.
Can be worn with almost anything just to give it a cute/tough little edge

So that's me for this month, I need to update more often so I will get on it!

Primark haul

Ok so I haven't posted for ages due to being red ridden and ill for the past few weeks so haven't worn or bought anything to blog about. I'm a bit better now so mum took me out to Westfield merry hill for a little shopping spree. Here's what I bought the other day and what I wore today

Top - Primark ; Necklace - Ebay ; Shirt - Charity shop

So I love this tropical/chain/leopard top, reminds of Versace prints. It's a beautiful material and I've seen a few similar in Topshop. I felt it could easily be dressed up or down and I love the contrast black band on the collar.

Ok I'll admit I do adore Harry Styles, but even I'm not crazy enough to wear this out the house. I got the biggest size possible and I plan to wear in bed. It's a big slouchy boyfriend style roll sleeve so perfect for lounging around in.

This Star wars tee was from the mens section and I think it looks quite "vintage" wouldn't think it's from Primark (hopefully). It was only £6 and as a massive Star wars fan I just couldn't resist it.

I've seen quite a few online brands do their version of this top (basically the same) for £40+ and this was in the sale for £3. It's a slim fit, so tighter than I'm used to, but nothing some high waisted jeans/leggings/shorts won't solve.

Sorry for the poor picture, I know black doesn't photograph very well. But this is a black ripped crop, identical to the ones selling in Topshop at the moment for £8, only this one is a bit longer and only £3. I have the topshop one too and I honestly think this Primark version is better (for me anyway) as it's a tiny bit longer and no worries of underboob!

I recently bought the Topshop version of these shoes (luckily for £10) and they aboslutely kill my feet, I'm going to put them on ebay or depop. So I'm pleased I went for it and bought these for £10. They're the comfiest "geek" shoes I've ever owned, even without socks.

I said I liked Star wars ;) this is an all over print and a lovely "scuba" fabric so nice and thick. Haven't seen a Star wars top like this before so I had to get it. As usual I bought it oversized so I can wear it as a tee dress if I wanted as it's long line.

Everyone who knows me, knows I can't resist a dog print. So when I saw this pyjama set and matching onesie I just had to have them. Perfect for summer into winter.

And last but not least, my Mickey mouse fleecy pyjamas. Can never have too many cozy pjs and I love the colour and print on the trousers.
So that's my little Primark haul, I bought a few socks and boring bits too, but you get the idea.

Motel and chokers

Top worn as dress - Motel ; Choker - Ebay ; Shoes - Topshop

I love the shape of the "major" dress, so simple to throw on in the day or dress up for night. It's also short enough to be a top (im just a midget and wear it as a dress).
Love the "churches" print and I think with my new topshop heels and choker it passes as a going out dress.
It's also a beautiful material, I love it so much I've ordered it in another print!

Dress - Motel ; Choker - Ebay

I wanted an off the shoulder bardot style dress for a while now but they're all so plain and boring I never bought one.
I fell in love with the lattice panelling on this dress and was so pleased the panel was wide enough to cover my bust (because it's always a worry with me)
I got loads of compliments on this dress and two of my friends liked it on me so much that they ordered it too :)

Phone case - Ebay

May update

Top - River Island ; Necklace - Topshop

I bought this top last payday, it's only £12 and couldn't resist it, such a perfect shape and print for summer! So far I've worn it with distressed high waist shorts for drinks at a pub and with disco pants and a long sheer kimono from H&M for a night out. Really liking River Island for summer clothes at the moment.

Lipstick - Barry M Black (37) ; Necklace - Ebay ; Top - Topman

I've really got used to wearing black lipstick, thought I'd get a Barry M one as it's only £5 incase I didn't use it much, but im tempted to get the Illamasqua one, purely because I find Barry M lipsticks need reapplying regularly and I don't seem to have the problem with Illamasqua.

Duvet & Surprise pack - Primark

I was actually looking to buy a new shirt for my friend but saw this pug duvet and couldn't resist! I have the primark pug duvet from last year but this one is so realistic and cute I just needed it for this summer.
When I got to the tills I saw this Adventure Time surprise pack and anyone who knows me knows I'm obsessed with this show so I had to buy it! Not really bought much or been out much this month to be honest, hense hardly any updates :)

This week in Accessories

Necklace - Ebay

I wear this necklace all the time, I always browse Ebay for new chokers and it's full of these velvet ones. I went for the moon because it isn't too over the top and can be worn with pretty much anything and isn't so intricate that you can't tell what it is, which I find with some charms. It cost me about £4-5 with postage but theres just nowhere on the high street that does this simple style

Sunglasses - Topshop unique

I bought these sunglasses a few years ago because I love the John Lennon style round glasses and thought these were a bit different because of the frame so I didn't mind spending over £20 for them (which is a lot for me the spend on glasses)

Velvet hair bow and Hello Kitty hairbands - The little bag company

I saw these while shopping for a mother's day gift and couldn't resist them. I have to have my hair up for work and I get bored with the same style everyday so new cute hair accessories is always welcome. They came to £2-something in total so I was pleased

Week round up

Shirt - Primark; Shorts - River Island; Cardigan - Jaeger london

Outfit - All River Island

This was my outfit for a job interview last Monday. I'm not keen the usual white shirt, black skirt/trousers and blazer look so I wore my smart satin river island shorts I bought in the sale for £15 (they arn't avaliable online anymore) and teamed it originally with the matching shirt but decided it looked too "done" and changed my mind. I realised I don't actually own a smart jacket so I added my cardigan from Jaeger I got for £3.50 in a charity shop.

Dress - Primark

I couldnt resist this dress, I've seen loads similar and because of the boob situation they just wont fit me properly, so im really pleased I found this in Primark. I couldn't get a full body pic but it really is just a straight A-line shape skirt shift dress. It is see through but I put black tights on and just accepted it, better than visible pants.

Weekend outfits

Top -Asos; Lipstick - Illamasqua in "Liv"; Nails - Nails inc (dont know the colour) and Illamasqua in "Harsh"

Im Loving pastel colours at the moment and Im a big fan of an oversize top, so I had to get this one from Asos. I already had my nails like this so I decided to match my lips to my nails and top aswell. Thought it looked quite cute. Rest of my outfit was boring, leather look leggings and doc shoes, hense why I didn't photograph it.

Top - Ladymuckvintage ; Necklace - Rock n Rose; Socks - Primark ; Shoes - Dr Martens

I've worn this necklace constantly since I bought it. Wish I could actually afford Rock n rose jewellery without feeling guilty for spending so much, but considering I've worn this so much I think it's worth the investment, I'm just awful and have a habit of losing things. This shirt is actually a man's one, just prefer the slouchy fit to womens ones. Only cost me £13 in my local vintage shop, it's a beautiful silky material so perfect for summer too, nice and lightweight. I got these docs for my birthday and I've worn them so much.

Top - Primark ; Necklace - Primark

Ok really boring outfit here, I literally wore a primark necklace, top, belt and skirt. Don;t think you would know it's primark unless you worked there like me. Just love the flocked velvet top. I did put a bralet vest underneath because unfortunately I'm not blessed with a flat chest.

Top - H&M ; Skirt - Primark ; Kimono - Primark

Ok awful picture but you get the idea. This faux leather baby blue skirt was only £10 in primark! I couldn't leave it there, Unfortunately I got it a bit big but I'll still wear it, rather be too big than small. This kimono is my go to piece when it's sunny because I hate my shoulders and arms and the french bulldog top just went so well with the baby blue (I think anyway) so I wore this to go out with mum for a cider or 2.
