Happy Easter

I'm Lucky enough to have bank holidays off work and since it's been sunny I've been able to take some outfit pics :)

Shirt - Ladymuck vintage ; Top - Primark ; Shorts - Ebay ; Shoes - Reebok ; Socks - Primark ; Necklace - Poundland

Dress - Asos (last year)

I've been ordering shorts off ebay like mad (this post and the last) and I doubt I'll buy shorts from anywhere else now unless they're REALLY nice. Nothing seems to fit as well as levi's. I got this top a few years ago in Primark and it was only £3 in the sale and it's been worn to death since.
There's a vintage shop in Redditch and it's so good for mens shirts and furniture etc. They stock items from Sass and Belle too so I've been kitting out my new bedroom like mad with goodies from there.
I popped into poundland after work last week and always have a look at the jewellery and beauty bits to try them and I was shocked to see this style of necklaces. I wanted a gold collar one and I think this is gorgeous considering the price. I was also really naughty and bought a long line necklace with an elephant pendant. For a £1 I couldn't resist.
Since these socks came in stock at Primark I dont wear any other style, they look so cute with my trainers and flats and boots. Normally I'm not the biggest fan of reebok's but I love these 30th edition ones.
Onto the next pic, this is an oversized smock dress from last year when Asos was selling loads of styles. Unfortunately I didnt get any others and it's my favourite style of dress (bar a tee dress) and its on my list to stock up for summer this year.
I wear this bunny print one every easter. It was my easter present to myself last year :)

March shopping trip

So I have no outfit posts because I've hardly been out. Been working away like mad. So this post is just going to be pictures/links/prices etc of bits and bob's I've bought this month (because I always make time to shop)

Duvet - Primark £5

I wanted this duvet full price (which was still only £11) but when I saw it for £5 I just had to have it.
I think it's really cute and I have a LOT of vintage-like pillows which add some colour and look lovely with this duvet cover.

Rings - Primark £1.50/£2.50

Since working in Primark I have become a cheapskate when it comes to jewellery, I tend to not pay more than £8 for anything. The rings are especially good value since I always seem to lose them. I don't wear a statement ring very often so midi rings are perfect for me. Just gives that extra in an outfit.

Top - Jaded London £28

I really struggle with buying a bikini top due to the size of my breasts :( I dont want to totally cover them, but nor do I want to get them right out and look like a slapper.
So I saw this top from Jaded London on ASOS.com and had to buy it.
when the sun comes out I'll probably wear it as a top aswell. I just think its lovely and a nod to the calvin klein iconic design

Shorts - D2Vintage @ Ebay £12.95; Top - Primark £5

These are Probably my favourite shorts ever, I definately recomment going up a size considering Levi's are well known to be on the small side. The link I provided is for the "grade A" shorts, which means they are perfect condition but a few pounds more expensive than the £12.95 I paid.
I bought the "grade B" meaning they come a bit more battered and may need some repair work, mine for example needed a button hole sewing up in the corneer.
Now this primark top is one of my favourite clothes from there recently. It can be worn off shoulder like a bardot shape or up on the shoulders.
I just adore the elephant and "hippie" prints that are coming back into fashion now.

So that's all my clothes etc. I've done loads of overtime this month so next month's hauls/outfit posts will hopefully be more exciting, and of course more of them :)

Redditch Morton stanley festival

I went to Hereford in the day to see my friends who have one of my sold puppies, then straight to a festival near town so I needed something comfy but nice and chose my Motel "major" dress, was so busy I didn't get a full body shot but got some pictures.

Top/dress - Motel ; Necklace - Asos ; Jacket - Ebay ; Lipstick - Collection 200 "mudslide"

So awful photo's I know but you get the idea. The items I'm wearing are sold out now but the harrington jacket is easily found on ebay, I paid about £16 for this one rather than the usual £60+ And I've said before how much I love the "major" dress by Motel. Can be worn as a dress or top tucked into shorts/jeans.

Easter holiday style

Dress - Asos

I absolutely love smock dresses and seeing as it's easter I HAD to treat myself to this one. I bought it oversized and it's now my favourite dress I own and the short sleeves are perfect for summer.

Shoes - River Island

These are sold out online but my local store has loads of these in pink, white and patent black. I wanted them when they were full price at £45 and now they're down to £15 my mum actually bought me then as a easter present because she loves them too. I just think they're so cute for summer with little white or pastel coloured frilly socks.

Top - Primark ; Leggings - H&M ; Choker necklace - Ebay

I saw this top come into work and couldn't resist it, a stripe tee is a wardrobe essential and I already have a black and white one so I went for the blue and white. Bought oversized as I do with most items and it tucks in perfectly to my new leggings which are a smart material as opposed to the usual jersey. I bought the choker on ebay and have worn it almost everyday since, it just goes with anything and just finishes off any outfit.

Weekend outfits

Top -Asos; Lipstick - Illamasqua in "Liv"; Nails - Nails inc (dont know the colour) and Illamasqua in "Harsh"

Im Loving pastel colours at the moment and Im a big fan of an oversize top, so I had to get this one from Asos. I already had my nails like this so I decided to match my lips to my nails and top aswell. Thought it looked quite cute. Rest of my outfit was boring, leather look leggings and doc shoes, hense why I didn't photograph it.

Top - Ladymuckvintage ; Necklace - Rock n Rose; Socks - Primark ; Shoes - Dr Martens

I've worn this necklace constantly since I bought it. Wish I could actually afford Rock n rose jewellery without feeling guilty for spending so much, but considering I've worn this so much I think it's worth the investment, I'm just awful and have a habit of losing things. This shirt is actually a man's one, just prefer the slouchy fit to womens ones. Only cost me £13 in my local vintage shop, it's a beautiful silky material so perfect for summer too, nice and lightweight. I got these docs for my birthday and I've worn them so much.

Top - Primark ; Necklace - Primark

Ok really boring outfit here, I literally wore a primark necklace, top, belt and skirt. Don;t think you would know it's primark unless you worked there like me. Just love the flocked velvet top. I did put a bralet vest underneath because unfortunately I'm not blessed with a flat chest.

Top - H&M ; Skirt - Primark ; Kimono - Primark

Ok awful picture but you get the idea. This faux leather baby blue skirt was only £10 in primark! I couldn't leave it there, Unfortunately I got it a bit big but I'll still wear it, rather be too big than small. This kimono is my go to piece when it's sunny because I hate my shoulders and arms and the french bulldog top just went so well with the baby blue (I think anyway) so I wore this to go out with mum for a cider or 2.
