September Glossy and Birch boxes

So first up is the Glossybox. The theme was "british" so I didn't know what brands to expect to the honest. Im so happy with the eylure pre glued lashes. I've used eylure since I was about 16 and they're still my fav "high street" lashes, but I do hate applying the glue so I'm excited to see how the pre glued lashes fare.
The second item is the Toni and Guy shine gloss serum. In the leaflet it says it tames and shines frizzy hair. To be honest I could have done with this during summer, not winter. My hair doesn't tend to go frizzy around this time of year so I don't know how much I'd use this. My mum "suffers" from frizz so I'll probably give it to her.
Next up is the Elizabeth arden perfume "untold" I don't really like getting perfume samples but it does come in a cute little bottle and smells quite nice. I'd just rather more make up.
Third is the HD brows blusher. I've wanted to try this brand for a while and I didn't realise they did blushers, I used it today for work and it stayed put, looks gorgous on (I was lucky to get one that suits my skin tone) and a little went a long way. As I say, I'm lucky I got a dark red because in winter I always swap my coral blusher for a darker one. But for a blusher that retails at £18 I wouldn't expect anything less.
The last item is a glossybox own brand eyeliner. I'm not happy with this, even on the card which states the retail price it was written in dollars, not even British. I did wear it for work though, it stayed on brilliantly but I found the pen hard to use and get even on both eyes, and I never have a problem with eyeliner. Not as impressed with this.

So from left to right. The first is a Birchbox own nail varnish in "classic red" I haven't tried this yet as I already have painted nails. But to be honest I looked in the magazine and I'm gutted I didnt get the "grunge red" because I'm abit scared of bright red, it never looks right on me.
Next is the Molton Brown body lotion. I'm always happy with a Molton Brown product. My mum swears by their products and I've been brought up using them. I can't ever buy them for full price because I have stupidly sensitive skin, so I'm always happy to recieve new skin care products to try.
Onto the Aromatherapy associates body gel. As I just said, I have sensitive skin so I'm always happy to try new things. I've never heard of this brand but I'll certainly give it a go.
This little pot of clear liquid is the Bioderma sensitive. In the magazine it says its a gentle makeup remover, which is always good for me with my awful skin. It takes off waterproof mascara too (apparently) so I'll try this soon.
Lastly is the Models Co lipstick. I got the colour "Kitty" which is a light-medium pink. I think on my skin it will look quite "nude" so a good everyday colour. I tend to use light pinks everyday and then darker plums for night, so I'll get my use out of this.

Overall I'm quite happy this month. Im thrilled with the eylure lashes and HD brows blusher. I don't think there's anything I recieved that wont get put to use. Even if I do have to give the hair serum to my mum (:

Varsity

Shirt (worn underneath) - Forever 21 | T shirt - Primark | Necklace - Miss Selfridge | Tights - Primark | Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell | Earrings - Topshop

I love this top, I took inspiration from the wonderful Nicola Roberts and wore it as a dress with my hair and makeup done and killer heels. Perfect for a "fat day" and when you wanna go out but you wanna look casual. I wore this to a pub then to a club. I added the shirt underneath to make it less casual and look more expensive than it was (tee was only £6) I added tights with a boarder round the thighs to make it more interesting if it rode up at all. I added my trusty long Miss selfridge cross necklace because I felt it needed a long necklace and this is my fail safe option. I wore my Topshop peace earrings because I've had them over a year and never found an outfit where they wouldn't look too OTT. I get so many compliments on these JC's whenever I wear them, sadly they give me blisters but they went so well this outfit. Tbh my boyfriend wasn't thrilled when I pulled this out my wardrobe but if you arnt feeling a tight dress and wanna be casual then I think its a cute look.

Velvet cut out

Dress - Missguided | Necklace - Miss Selfridge | Tights - Primark

Bag - Primark

Everyone who knows me knows I love velvet. It's just so beautiful and it always comes into fashion around A/W time. Because I'm quite curvy and my waist is my smallest feature I love a cut out design and the skater skirt hides my hips and bloated tummy from drinking too much. Brilliant for a night out. I wore it the other day and got loads of compliments. A few girls complimented me on my pinky dip dyed hair too, pleased with how the dye turned out I'll have to keep redoing it though. I have about 4 parties this week so will deffo be updating more this month (:

First night out this year

Shirt - Forever 21 | Bralet - Miss selfridge | Necklace - Primark | Shorts - Topshop (hand customised) | Tights - Pretty polly

Went out for my first weekend this year and I did want to wear my AA mesh panel bodysuit and leggings but couldn't find it anywhere so this outfit was a last resort. I've had this shirt for ages and have never worn or because I didn't think it was very flattering and couldnt find anything to go underneath it. But im pleased with how my Miss selfridge bralet goes underneath. Maybe should have worn leggings with this outfit but I didn't want to bake in a hot club. I wore my Cat tapestry print Jc's aswell.
